New release version 2.5.5

A new version of VELUX Daylight Visualizer 2 is now available for download.

Daylight Visualizer version 2.5.5 new features include support for 3D models imported directly from Google Sketchup in .SKP format.

Changes made in the new build:

- Added support to import 3D models from Google Sketchup (.SKP format)

- Added functionalities to perform average daylight factor in user-defined zones of the model

- Added the possibility to overlay a grid of numerical values over the image in the output viewer

- Improved the ISO contour lines representation in high resolution renderings with dynamic scaling 

- Removed the default average daylight factor value on the legend

- Changed the format of the latitude and longitude coordinates in the output viewer

- Fixed an error when using custom coordinates in the location settings

VELUX Daylight Visualizer is a simple tool for daylighting design and analysis. It is intended to promote the use of daylight in buildings and to aid professionals by predicting and documenting daylight levels and appearance of a space prior to realization of the building design.

VELUX Daylight Visualizer's intuitive modelling tool permits quick generation of 3D models in which roof and facade windows are freely inserted. Other features include a 3D model importer, predefined simulation settings, efficient workflow as well as multiple daylight parametrics providing accurate predictions.
